Where you stay
How do we choose hotels and villas?
We start with the kind of place you enjoy, perhaps a grand hotel in the middle of a city, or a villa with room for the whole family. Then we choose the room, because the view, the floor and the distance from the lift all change how a stay feels.
Where it helps, we ask the hotel ahead of time for the things that make an arrival easier, like an early check-in after a night flight or a table held for your first evening.
Getting around
Can you arrange private guides and drivers?
Yes. We book guides for a morning, a full day or the length of your stay, and we tell them in advance what interests you, so they can plan the day around it.
Drivers meet you at arrivals and take you between each stop, so you never have to find a taxi rank or read a timetable after a long flight.
Trains and boats
Do you book scenic railways and sea crossings?
We reserve seats on scenic railways, ferry crossings and private boats, and we work out the connections between them. When a train reaches a harbour ten minutes before the boat leaves, we make sure someone knows you are coming.
Occasions
Can you plan a honeymoon or a special celebration?
Honeymoons, anniversaries and milestone birthdays need a little more planning. Tell us what the occasion is and we will arrange the small things before you arrive, such as flowers in the room or a private dinner on your last night.
While you travel
What happens if something changes while I am away?
You contact us and we sort it out. A late train, a closed road or a change of heart about the next stop are all things we can rearrange from here while you carry on with your day.
Cost
How much does a luxury trip cost?
It depends on where you go, how long you stay and how you like to travel, so we give you an estimate with the first sketch of your trip. Nothing is booked until you have seen the full plan and agreed to it.
